Bible Class

Sunday School and Adult Bible Class

All of our Sunday school classes meet from 9:00 a.m. to 9:45.
The classes begin with toddlers, then 2 years of age through high school, college and young adults. Our church also has an Adult Bible Class for all adults to attend.

Sunday school allows the children the opportunity to interact with other children of a shared faith and their teachers. Classes are small allowing students to receive instruction in the Word according to their ages. Children ages 2 through 9 years start in the music room to worship the Lord in song, proceed to their individual classes for their Bible lessons and activities. The older classes receive instruction from the curriculum centered on our church doctrine, the Word and also from their teachers as the Holy Spirit lead them.

Sunday School Allows

Sunday school allows time for all attendees to prepare themselves for our worship service.

Throughout the history of our church, the children and young people have been considered our “future” church, as they carry on the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to the next generation.

Children are encouraged to attend our church services with their families, to hear the Word from the pulpit and to participate in church worship. (Proverbs 22:6)

We have witnessed many young children comment to their parents about events that have taken place during worship services that have made an impact on their young lives.

As they mature, we observe them wanting more of Jesus and expressing their desire to serve him.

Through their own conviction, many of these young members accept the opportunity to be baptized in water as the first step of their Christian journey. (Matthew 3:11, Romans 6:4) then, through prayer and devotion, seek the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives them utterance. (Acts 2:4, 37-39)

Vacation Bible School

Each summer, our Sunday school children participate in Vacation Bible School for one week. Every year a Biblical theme is selected for instruction. The Bible literally comes to life through stage plays with theatrical scenes and various other activities. This is a time for our Sunday school children to learn, and experience the Bible, strengthen Christian friendships, and fellowship together. VBS is an exciting and memorable experience for our children and they look forward to it each year.
