Primary Text: 1 Corinthians 2:1-5 Supporting Text: 2 Pe. 1:16; Jer. 17:9; Heb. 2:4; Luke 18:8 1 Cor 2:1

He concentrated on the central truth of the gospel (redemption through Christ) and on the power of the Holy Spirit. He was quite aware of his human limitations, his personal inadequacy, and his inner fear and trembling. Consequently, he did not rely on himself but on his message and on the Holy Spirit (v4). This resulted in a greater demonstration of the Spirit’s work and power. Not on light shows and smoke machines, etc. 1 Cor 2:4 In Demonstration Of The Spirit And Of Power (1) As a demonstration of the Holy Spirit’s power (1:18, 24),

Paul’s preaching included (a) the Holy Spirit’s convicting people of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and His bearing witness to the saving power of the risen Christ; (b) the power to transform lives (1:26-27) (c) the power to effect holiness in the believer (5:3-5) (d) God’s power manifested by signs and wonders For comments and prayer requests, please use the following email address: Evanfga@gmail.com Visit our website: https://efga.church
